Hola! Welcome to our West End Intercambio event!

Hello everyone! Starting from Monday, May 8th, we will be meeting upstairs at Curlers on Mondays and Thursdays at Tennent's!

Curlers is conveniently located next to Hillhead subway on Byres Rd. When you arrive, head upstairs and look for us at the table in the far left corner by the window. At Tennent's, simply turn left after entering from Byres Rd, and you'll find us at one of the tables by the windows!

Frequently Asked Questions

What level is required to join?
Our group is open to everyone, from beginners to native speakers. It's best to have some conversational ability to fully participate!

If I can't make it exactly at 7:00 PM, is it a problem?
Our gatherings are very relaxed, so feel free to join us whenever you can. If you arrive at 7:00 PM and no one is there yet, give it some time as people tend to arrive within 15-20 minutes!

What if only one person is signed up for the event?
Don't worry about the RSVP numbers on the event page. We usually have around 10-15 regular attendees, even if only a few have RSVPd.

Join us at The Tennent's Bar on Byres Road at 7:00 PM on Mondays and Thursdays to practice and improve your Spanish or English. We have different hosts on different nights, and sometimes none, but there will always be friendly people to welcome you. Look for us at the top of the stairs where we'll be sitting on the long benches. We're excited to meet you and have a chat in Spanish and English.

We kick off with a 'Spanish half hour' followed by an 'English half hour' to give each language equal time and engage in fun topics to keep the conversation flowing. We can't wait to see our regulars and extend a warm welcome to new members.
